It is highly recommended, to extend the useful life of our diving equipment, to follow the maintenance advice of the manufacturer, annual review of equipment at an authorized technical service, and regulators every 50 dives or once a year, whatever happens first, being in some brands this condition is a necessary requirement to maintain the guarantee of its regulators, therefore the importance of carrying out these works in a Technical Service Authorized by the brand, apart from these advice only experience can help us to improve the care of our equipment.


Without pretending to be a BRICODIVING guide, I would like to share with you some of the things I have learned after many years of experience, official courses and having had the good fortune to be able to work with, whom I consider, the best professionals in the sector.


I would also like to remind you that the best treatment you can give to your equipment is to carry out their maintenance to an Official Technical Service authorized by the brand where you will get a certificate of the work done, official warranty for 3 months of your maintenance and the certainty and reassurance that they only use original spare parts and that the staff that touches your equipment is properly qualified. It is time for us to become aware of the importance of our equipment being in perfect condition, since we put our lives in their hands, and avoid the "unauthorized services".
